The Rt Hon Dominic Raab MP was due to speak at an event very kindly hosted by one of our Members, in a beautiful private garden in Chichester.
However, the event coincided with the news that Boris Johnson had resigned, so deputy Prime minister Mr Raab had to remain in Westminster that day.
The event was very well attended and Members and guests were treated to a delicious array of canapes, chilled wines and the opportunity to discuss with fellow guests - the momentous news.
Gillian Keegan MP was able to update everyone and give the inside track on what was happening and what would happen next.
