3 excellent candidates were introduced to the Executive Council, and the Members of Chichester Conservative Association at a packed meeting on Tuesday 2nd May.
Each candidate gave a 5 minute presentation and then took 20 minutes of questions from the Members.
A secret ballot was then held.
Gillian Keegan won by over 50% (as per the rules for candidate selection) on the first ballot.
The 2 other candidates were warmly thanked and given every good wish for the future.
Andrew Tyrie will be sadly missed, and the work now begins to support Gillian in her election Campaign
